| HOW TO DOWNLOAD |

Downloading is the process of copying a file from one computer to another across the internet. Downloading a file from a web site, means you are copying it to your own computer. This file allows you to install and use the program on your own computer.
Following is an example of how to download a file using Internet Explorer and Windows XP.
Click on the download link for the program you want to download.
You will be asked if you want to save the file or run it from its current location.
Select: "Save".
A standard “Save As” dialog box will open. You will be asked to select the folder where you want to save the file. Select a folder before clicking the “Save” button. You can select any folder. It may help to create a special folder for downloads.
The download will now begin.
The web browser will keep you updated on the progress of the download by showing a progress bar.
You will also see a check box labeled "Close this dialog box when download completes". It may be easier to find the file after you download it, if you uncheck this box.
If you unchecked the option "Close this dialog box when download completes", you will still see the dialog box when the download is complete. Click the "Run" button to run the file you just downloaded.
If you checked the option "Close this dialog box when download completes" and you don't see the "Download complete" dialog box, open the folder where you saved the file and double-click on the file’s icon.
If the file’s extension is .EXE: The file you downloaded is a program. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program to your computer and to find out how to run the program after it is installed.
If the file’s extension is .ZIP: ZIP is a file format used to compress files for a quick download. You will need an unzipping program, like WinZIP, to read these ZIP files. Some versions of Windows read ZIP files without extra software.
